Van Der Sar has not conceded a goal in 1,212 Premier League minutes but he is till some way short of the world record, standing at 1,816 minutes by Mazaropi for Vasco de Gama.
Not only has he got a chance to break the record, he will also make his 250th career Premier League appearance. And he could do it against him former club, Fulham, where he made a total of 127 league appearances.
Their opponents from West London have only managed three goals away from home this year, so don’t expect Van der Sar run of clean sheets to be troubled in Wednesday’s game.
Wayne Rooney could make his comeback tomorrow evening but only on the bench. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson told MUTV:
